Course Description
This mini-course examines initial feelings and gives coping strategies for parents of children with visual impairments. It also explores how to have positive expectations for the child, maintain healthy family relationships, and become actively involved in the community. It shows how developing a parenting plan can help parents enjoy the adventure and strengthen relationships with themselves, the child, and others in the community.

Overview
Students submit one assignment by mail, fax, email, or telephone. To submit by telephone, the student must first make an appointment with the instructor.
