The Hadley School for the Blind Woman’s Board Braille Holiday Card Sale

It’s exciting for The Hadley School for the Blind to announce that we have sold out of our 2009 Braille Holiday Tree Card. Thank you for your overwhelming support this year.

We are now offering the 2009 Braille Photo Card for the reduced price of $18 per box of 25 cards. The 2008 Dove Holiday Card is also available for $18 for a box of 25.

We are accepting walk-ins and phone orders only at this time. To order either of these cards by phone, please call 800-323-4238.

You may also visit the Hadley School at 700 Elm Street in Winnetka, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 4 pm, to pick up your cards in person. Cards from Caspari, Masterpiece Studio or Regency sample books are also available.

Our 2009 Braille Holiday Card Sale ends on December 17. If you would like to be included on our early mailing list for the 2010 Braille Holiday Card, please email your address to: womansboard@hadley.edu.

These holiday greeting cards benefit The Hadley School for the Blind in Winnetka, Illinois. Our school promotes independent living through lifelong distance education programs for people who are blind or visually impaired, their families and blindness service providers.

2009 photo card cover

The 2009 photo card is sized to fit a 4 x 6 photo. The card has red and gold-trimmed ribbon intertwined with evergreen branches and holly in the upper left and right hand corners. The frame of the card is embossed.


2008 holiday card cover

The 2008 Holiday card is a painted image of a white dove with open wings holding an olive branch in its beak against a blue background. It carries the greeting "Wishing you peace, happiness and the spirit of the season" in both print and braille inside.

These cards are produced by The Woman’s Board of the Hadley School. Original artwork provided by Kay Moffitt, local artist and Woman’s Board member.
