A special thank you to everyone who participated in the 6th Annual Hounds for Hadley Dog Walk on Saturday, October 1. The sun came out and it was a beautiful fall day in Winnetka complete with costumed dogs and their owners, lots of trick-or-treating, refreshments, raffle prizes and more. We had our largest number of walkers ever!
Congratulations to the costume contest winners and to Nicole and Connor McKey, Andrea Conner and Drake Berman for being our "top dog" fundraisers. And a special thanks to Nicole for being our honorary youth chair; Marcella Kukulka and her Teens for Hadley group for spreading the word; and all the scouts who participated.
With everyone’s help, we have raised more than $23,000 and counting!
Donations to the walk will accepted through Friday, October 21. If you have family or friends who could not attend the walk, they can still contribute by donating online or mailing a check to: Hounds for Hadley, The Hadley School for the Blind, 700 Elm Street, Winnetka IL 60093.
Thank you again for your support!
