Accreditation
The Hadley School for the Blind has met the high standards of integrity and performance set by the accrediting Commissions of the Distance Education and Training Council, North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement and Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation. Hadley is a fully-accredited member of each association.
The Hadley School for the Blind has maintained uninterrupted accreditation
since 1958. The school regularly undergoes a comprehensive study and peer review
that demonstrates Hadley has met established standards. Accreditation of Hadley’s
programs ensures that Hadley delivers the quality of courses it claims to offer
and assures the students that the school operates ethically, utilizes qualified
instructors, advertises truthfully, plans for continued school improvement and
measures for educational effectiveness.
