Credit

Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit is awarded upon successful completion of the course offered in this program. We participate in a national effort to recognize self-development and self-enrichment through a program of continuing education. Many employers, certification and licensing agencies, state agencies and professional associations, such as the Academy of Certification of Visual Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP), accept CEUs as evidence of educational attainment.

One CEU is generally defined as 10 hours of successful participation in an organized continuing education program under responsible direction and qualified instruction. The course listings indicate the number of CEUs awarded for each course. Upon successful completion of your HSPS course, a Certificate of Achievement is issued that indicates the course taken, completion date, course grade and any applicable CEUs.

Selected Seminars@Hadley are offered for continuing education credit. Most seminars are one hour in length, so credit earned is established as one Continuing Education hour. Successfully completion of an online quiz is required before a certificate is awarded.
