Scholarships

The Hadley School for the Blind is happy to offer a limited number of scholarships each year for HSPS students who meet certain criteria.

If you or your employer/volunteer site cannot pay for your Hadley course, you may apply for a scholarship that covers the cost of tuition. Preference is given to first-time students and to students who have a history of successfully completing Hadley courses in a timely manner.

Becoming a scholarship applicant requires three steps.

Complete the scholarship application form. Scholarships may not be applied for by phone.

Obtain a statement of support from your supervisor on agency letterhead indicating that the agency is unable to cover the Hadley course tuition. In place of a letter, you may provide us with your supervisor’s name and work phone number so that we may verify your scholarship eligibility by phone (U.S. and Canadian students only).
Mail or fax the completed scholarship form and/or employer's statement to:

You may be contacted by a Hadley School for the Blind representative if further information or clarification is needed regarding your application.

You will be notified within 10 business days of The Hadley School for the Blind receiving your request if a scholarship has been granted.
