Policies and Practices
The following guidelines will help you understand what Hadley expects of students
and what students can expect of Hadley.
General
- Every Hadley instructor is available by phone and by email to help you
with questions you have about course content. Emails and voice mails are typically
returned within one business day. Instructor contact information is included
with every course.
- We are happy to work with students on school- or course-related concerns.
We are not able to counsel students on personal matters.
- Make your telephone calls to the school as concise as possible. Hadley
provides a toll-free number within the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico,
but we are charged for these calls.
- Hadley Certificates of Achievement are prepared after your Hadley instructor
enters the final course grade into the computer. Certificates are sent by
mail and may take up to two weeks to reach you. They are not faxed or emailed.
You will have the opportunity to evaluate the course upon completion.
- Once you receive a grade for a course, access to your online course will
be discontinued. If you would like to retain the course information as a resource,
print or save it.
- Enroll in a course at a time when you are able to commit the time and diligence
needed for course completion.
- If you are using Hadley course certificates as proof of continuing education,
keep in mind the deadline by which the certificate must be presented and pace
yourself accordingly. Consider your availability to study, the number of course
assignments, how you plan to submit them to your instructor and time for the
assignment response before submitting the next one.
- Hadley faculty and staff will treat you with courtesy. The same is expected
of you.
