Seminars@Hadley are the best! The technology seminars are especially relevant; the information I acquired helped me learn about my iPhone.

Seminars@Hadley presents

Dealing with Emotional Blackmail

Date: Thursday, June 30
Time: 10:00 AM CDT (15:00 GMT)

Helping hands

Do you ever wonder why encounters with certain people suddenly make you feel confused or misunderstood--those times when guilt and shame are wielded to make you think your actions are unreasonable? Would you like to learn more about what emotional blackmail is and how to deal with it effectively?

Join Seminars@Hadley as Lauri Dishman, a licensed clinical professional counselor, shares tips and tricks for taking control in these situations and for redirecting the negativity often present in toxic relationships. Larry Muffett, a member of Hadley’s Seminars team, will moderate this 60-minute seminar. A question and answer session will be included as part of the seminar.

This seminar is an audio presentation. Space in this seminar is limited. Please only register if you know you are available to attend so that others are not closed out. To register for the seminar, select the "Registration" link below.

Please read the technology requirements carefully prior to the seminar.

If you are already registered, we encourage you to verify that you are able to access the room at least 24 hours prior to the start of the event to allow time for troubleshooting. If you require technical assistance, please contact Hadley Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired helpdesk at helpdesk@hadley.edu or by calling 847-446-8111 ext. 6690.
