For those with age-related vision loss, correct lighting may improve contrast and acuity. The wrong kind of light, however, can increase eye fatigue, cause glare and reduce functional vision. Knowing the difference is essential when adapting an environment for low vision.

Join Low Vision Focus @ Hadley as Elaine Kitchel, former Project Leader at the American Printing House for the Blind, Research Scientist, and nationally recognized expert on ergonomic lighting and low vision, shares important information on the science of light and its relationship to low vision. Learn from an expert how you can optimize lighting to make visual tasks easier, reduce fatigue and maintain ocular health.

Ed Haines, Hadley Instructor and member of the Seminars@Hadley team, will moderate this 60-minute presentation.
